Basically, the teeth are held tightly on their individual sockets in the jaw bones with the help of gums. The gums holds each tooth fixed and stable , it goes a way up covering each individual tooth from their neck down. The oil pulling technique is very easy to try, just like I said earlier you will need to get high quality coconut oil and sesame oil. You should measure out a teaspoon of sesame oil or coconut oil and swish it in your mouth for about 10 to 20 minutes. After swishing, spit the oil out, rinse your mouth and then brush your teeth after. This method can be repeated many times as necessary each day.

3. Green Tea 

According to Japanese research report it was proved that green tea contributes greatly to our dental health. It has a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that promotes healthy teeth  and gums. The Japanese study showed that daily drinking of green tea reduces the chances of developing periodontal disease. The tea improves the attachment of gums to the teeth, reducing gum bleeding and also preventing gum recession. In order to fight gums recession, it’s helpful that you take green tea once or twice a day.

4. Septilin

This a traditional Ayurvedic medicine that plays an important role in supporting a healthy immune system and reducing inflammation. Septilin is a proprietary blend of Guggulu, Guduchi, amla, licorice and other highly medicinal compounds. 7. Tea Tree Oil

Some studies on the use of tea tree oil in dentistry usually conclude that tea tree oil is effective for fighting gum disease and bleeding. Just like other oils on this list, tea tree oil is applied directly on the affected area. Alternatively, you can add few drops of the oil to your toothpaste. Although it takes some time before you will start seeing effects, but daily brushing with the mixture of this oil and toothpastes can help.

8. Vitamin C

Deficiency in essential vitamins such as vitamin c can result to gum inflammation and recession. You should boost your vitamin c intake, maybe your problem might be from there. Speaking of taking vitamin c, there are so many natural sources of this great vitamin. Most people like to go natural, and that’s great because the vitamins gotten from natural foods are easily absorbed by the body unlike synthetic ones.

There are so many vegetables and fruits out there that are rich in vitamin c. They includes – citrus fruits, kale, broccoli, brussels sprouts, peppers, broccoli, tomatoes, kiwifruit and berries. The list is just inexhaustible, here are just the few common sources.
